@Dunadain Already have a couple times. It did not win, didn't even come close. But damn did it flex.
@Legend Yeah yeah my revised duals are my secret shame.
It plays really really badly, as you might expect. There's a LOT of useless and near-useless bricks, there's barely any synergies to be had, and the manabase is real bad despite 1/2 of it being duals and fetches. But it's still kinda fun to try to figure out a way to do something relevant with it.
Best I ever did was stealing a
Mistmeadow Witch away from my buddy's blink deck with
Gilded Drake while he was tapped out, and then blinking the drake again to steal more stuff. Then he board wiped and I lost
I've never had issues with theft or damage to my cards in all the time I've played magic. I don't really consider it that dangerous to play with expensive cards. I'm sure there's some risk that it could happen now, but I could also just get hit by a car and die walking to the mailbox, and that doesn't keep me locked inside all the time.
The thing that makes me most nervous is accidentally bending a card while shuffling, if I'm not paying attention. So I do try to shuffle a little more carefully.
