Device Settings

Personalized per-device settings

What are Device Settings?

Device Settings allow you to change how you view the site per-device, such as using Dark Mode and disabling signatures on your phone, while sticking with the classic look on your PC.

Device settings uses your device's Local Storage to save your settings, so these can be set even if you do not have an account (or you get logged out).

This means, however, that you must have local storage enabled. Modern browsers enable this by default, but some add-ons and personal settings can disable this. (How to Adjust Local Storage)

Light/Dark Mode
MTGNexus allows two basic style themes: Light Mode and Dark Mode. Light Mode is the traditional "black text on a white background", while Dark Mode offers the opposite, with dark backgrounds (often called "Night Mode").
Default: Light Mode
Discussions: Infinite Scroll
Rather than forcing a user to load new pages to continue reading a discussion topic, the system will automatically append the next page of posts to a topic as you finish the page. You can disable this option to return to a paginated view.
Default: Infinite Scrolling
Discussions: Signatures
Signatures on posts allow a user to end their posts with relevant personal links, messages, and/or a signature sign off. You can choose how these appear on your device.
Default: Forced Max Height
Choose your browser to learn how to turn on local storage. Most browsers treat these the same as Cookies, so you may have to enable cookies to enable local storage.
