Me, the Immortal - way better than Skullbriar

Finally done (ish) with the Me list. In comparison to most Skullbriar lists, this list is pretty light on counters, focusing mostly on ability counters and a couple big buffs to find OTKs in the late-game.

There's also a focus on graveyard synergy to exploit Me's discard ability. Loam is the primary endgame value engine, which also synergizes with the ramp package that enables extra land drops.

In terms of removal, I included some theft effects to add some board development and commander neutralization to an otherwise creature-light build.

Got to run this a couple times, probably slightly different than the above list since things have gotten kinda messy around here. Anyway, seemed pretty solid, won both games - first one off a coin flip from Boompile while Me was indestructible, and one where Juri, Master of the Revue was at lethal power versus both me and Jon, so I pointed removal at Juri and forced Mike to pick who he wanted to kill. Jon had a bunch of elementals and stuff, so he targeted Jon, and then I played Increasing Savagery into Visions of Dominance for lethal. Gotta love that kind of tricky win.

Fun list! Any thoughts on The Ozolith? Despite the wording on it, I believe what happens is Me keeps her counters and you also put them on The Ozolith, allowing you to "double" the counters on Me or just make more "Me"s out of the rest of your creatures. Less exciting for Me, perhaps, since she isn't generating +1/+1 counters quite as reliably as Skullbriar, but still seems strong.

I wanted to recommend Evolutionary Escalation. The card creates a ridiculous two-horse race and was really good in an old Animar deck I built way back when. I imagine it'll be even better supporting a commander who just won't stay dead.

@TheAmericanSpirit @Hawk I ultimately ended up cutting basically anything that puts counters incrementally on Me, because I figured my best plan to win was to boost my commander to lethal damage unexpectedly i.e. with Increasing Savagery, double strike, or something doubling the counters. Those two cards seem a bit too predictable, which is one of voltron's biggest weaknesses broadly, imo. Better fit for Animar since he wants counters for value purposes, whereas Me is purely for commander damage kills.

The deck is admittedly light on counter producing stuff - I may decide it needs more, but I think if I did want more counter stuff it'd probably be in the form of more doublers, not incremental buffs.
