@tstorm823 how'd you get a red avatar banner?
I forgot about that, I think it only shows on mobile, so I rarely see it. It's just "pay to win".

I feel like I'm bit slow on the uptake every limited set.

Right around the time the I feel I'm starting to "get" the format, and the meta starts to reign in the best colors, arena starts a flashback set or something and all the content creators/most players flock to that.

More gems for me I guess.

@Hermes_ you might want to at least spoiler that since it's pretty NSFW.

But yeah def not appropriate for an LGS. Or human eyeballs generally.

the smexy goblin deck is cute. but all the cards are just credited to "WhiteLotusProxy" and that's a no no unless the company is literally one person and zero ummm artbots
"MTG Star Trek Reprints $80 Staple Featuring Benedict Cumberbatch" how wonderful! I've always wanted to read a sentence like this!

They have a website and discord, I'm sure it's a whole company since they sell other decks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you use AI tools in the process of creating the art for our cards?
Yes we do use AI in parts of the process along with digital sketch work using a tablet and photoshop. Each deck takes about 120+ human hours of effort to create. We mention this in all our listing descriptions for transparency.

Gooner goblins has raised a philosophical dilemma, lol. On one hand I am 100% ok with proxies as a way to make the game accessible and alt art doesn't bother me in general. On the other hand this is perverted AI cringe and I'm 100% opposed to such. If someone sat down with this at my table I think I would have to needle them mercilessly.

Had a guy who would show up with sleeves of some half-naked vampire. He also made some uncomfortable comments while playing form time to time.

I have no spine so I didn't say anything, but it was one of a couple reasons I started going to a much further game store.

Not sure how well he's known in this crowd but Andy Williams, guitarist of 'Every Time I Die", also known as "The Butcher" in AEW wrestling passed away yesterday during a match. Wild news to hear today. I know him for his music side, saw his band perform a number of times and they always put on a hell of a show until their split a few years back. Big loss for the metal/hardcore community.

That's awful to hear.

I'll be honest, while I knew him from his music (not well, but I have a lot of friends who love metal), I had no idea he was a wrestler. So the fact he died during a wrestling match is not something I expected to hear.

It's especially wild to hear, because he shares a name with another singer I really enjoyed in Andy Williams, and it took me a moment to realize you weren't talking about that Andy Williams. Though it should been obvious by the context clues, plus the fact he died like ten years ago. Imaging him as a pro wrestler named "The Butcher" did give me a good laugh however.

I'm a big AEW fan so I'm mostly familiar with him for his music. I only learned he was a musician after seeing him wrestle for years. He was only a few years older than me and from the outpouring of love he's getting on the Internet it sounds like he was an absolutely incredible person beyond his performing careers. It's a big loss to may.
