Akroma's will with this guy would be hilariously lethal too, since on the first strike everyone would get +abillion

I am definitely planning to slot in a place for this guy in Karlov. Should be pretty insane there.pokken wrote: ↑3 years agoNykthos Exemplar is probably the nastiest whiterhoof ever, outside of Akroma's Will if you're on a lifegain theme.

I have dreams of Necropotence'ing down to 1 then casting Resolute Archangel
There isn't, but permanent spells don't typically go to the graveyard on their own. (Some do.) I was trying to present the worse-cast scenario. Even if nobody cares about their graveyard, you can still use Dauthi Voidwalker to copy the best instant or sorcery spell that'd been cast while it's been on the battlefield. & you can probably cast various permanent spells too, assuming there's been some removal.Outcryqq wrote: ↑3 years agoI agree with you that Voidwalker is exceedingly powerful. And unless I missed something, there's no "nonpermanent" restriction on what you can cash it in for.UnfulfilledDesires wrote: ↑3 years ago& Dauthi Voidwalker may well be up there with Opposition Agent & Hullbreacher. The fact that you can cash it in to cast any nonpermanent spell anyone has cast since it's been on the battlefield (or before, in some cases) is huge.
It doesn't really hate on fixing so much as utility lands (and tron lands). Sure, painlands, probably a few others, but not that much really. I doubt it'll be very good.BeneTleilax wrote: ↑3 years agoI don't think I'll run Break the Ice but I'm all for more nonbasic hate. Manabases should be a consideration, with legitimate tradeoffs, rather than an attempt to cram in as much fixing as money can buy.

Sadly I think it's probably too strong for the stuff they print in standard at common so it might be quite a while.EonAon wrote: ↑3 years agoYet.pokken wrote: ↑3 years agoMan I would loooove an azorius version of Goblin Anarchomancer. Annoyed it doesn't look like part of a cycle![]()
That appears to be the case. The booster fun article about them says that non-foil retro frame cards can be found in set and draft boosters, while the retro frame cards from MH1 are only found in collector boosters.Serenade wrote: ↑3 years agoThe old border MH2 cards come as foil and nonfoil, right?
While the old border MH1 cards are ONLY foil, yes?
(Resurgent Belief in the old border looks cool, but I don't want any more foils in my life.)
