When I first saw this card I just felt something was off about this card. The character (coodinator) in the foreground looks ok but pretty much eveything else looks weird.

Take a look at the character in the left adjusting his helmet. The legs don't seem to align with the upper torso and the feet oddly stubby. In addition feet are pointing at the pov but the torso is twisted to the right. Seems like a completely unnatural pose.

Look at the two characters on the right. Between the characters on the floor there seems to a pair boots just partial fusing with other characters.

Maybe I'm just crazy here but I believe there was at least partial use of ai here.

I agree, there are several points that seem to indicate that this is AI rather than a human. In addition to your points, the feet on the right; there are two boots that match stylistically but belong to different people whose opposite foot doesn't match. On the left, the character holding a bag. The hand is at an awkward angle for the swing that's occurring.

While there are more things that seem odd. Like the patterns on the ground or the species depicted. Those could be considered human choice.

I think it would be helpful to compare it to the rest of Eduardo's art.

AI or not, I hope they stop using this guy. But yeah, I think it all might be AI

Yeah, his art is ugly and the perspective is off in several pieces, notably the outlaw token. That could be AI, that could just be sloppiness, either way I'd rather have less of it.

I see what you're talking about! It definitely sounds like there are some odd proportions and unnatural poses in the artwork. The alignment issues with the legs and torso, along with the strange foot positioning, do give off a bit of a "something's off" vibe. As for the boots blending into the other characters, that does seem a bit odd too.

It's not uncommon for AI-generated artwork to have such quirks, especially if the model hasn't been fine-tuned or if it's trying to merge different elements together in a way that doesn't make sense visually. AI can sometimes struggle with human anatomy and object relationships, which might explain the weirdness you're seeing. So you might not be crazy at all – it's possible that AI was used in the creation process, or maybe it was just a rushed illustration where the details weren't carefully addressed.

Either way, your attention to detail is spot on! It's always interesting to spot those little inconsistencies in artwork.
I use AI, namely Overchat AI, with the help of which I get answers to all possible questions.
