Dreams of the Dead
if I resurrect the unicorn using dreams of the dead's ability, then upkeep it for a turn, then get it killed, do I gain 3 life?
(i'm making very low powered casual decks from old cards and this type of thing is important to me!)
edit: nevermind, the updated wording changes my hopeful take on what the card did

Oracle text is your friend here: Revered Unicorn now says "When this creature leaves the battlefield, you gain life equal to the number of age counters on it." If one upkeep has passed, its own ability and that given by Dreams of the Dead will have placed two age counters. You'll gain 2 life.
