What are the Phyrexians planning?

Permanents and spells you control have phyresis. (They deal damage to permanents in form of phyrexian counters. A permanent with three or more phyrexian counters is compleat.)
You and permanents you control have protection from compleat permanents you don't control.

As an additional cost to cast a creature spell, you may pay any amount of life. If you do, that creature enters the battlefield with half that number of +1/+1 counters on it, rounded down.
When a creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it deals combat damage to a player, that player gets a poison counter.
Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, put three +1/+1 counters on it. That land is a 0/0 Phyrexian Elemental creature, it's still a land.

* Kaldheim - Triple the number of counters on each permanent you control.
* Lorwyn - Artifacts you control become artifact creatures with base power and toughness 5/5 and all creature types until end of turn.
* Kamigawa - Put two artifact cards from your hand onto the battlefield.

Once the oil gets into the machine, there is no getting rid of it.

Equipped creature gets -1/-1 for each charge counter on Scourge Virus and has deathtouch.
When Scourge Virus becomes unattached from a creature, remove all charge counters from Scourge Virus, and that creature's controller loses that much life.
1B: Attach Scourge Virus to target creature an opponent controls. Scourge Virus isn't a creature as long as it is attached. Activate as a sorcery.
