Oh yeah, I remember that %$#%$#% now. I concur entirely; why the hell should anyone need a login for another %$#% website just to use a wholly unrelated website's basic functions? Why would anyone hamstring their potential userbase by making them jump through the dumbest hoops?

I just like that I can develop and create things we need instead of always being in development hell.
We haven't seen much of that recently, but that's because I'm developing what I've affectionately called V2.
I'm hoping I can get that finished and pushed out by February, and it'll come with a new look (including a dark mode), all new sections, games, etc.

I've been seeing a different site than what you all have for a couple months now.
When I have to switch back for something.. I feel awkward at how bad some things look comparatively >_<

I cannot for the life of me remember a single instance of visiting Salvation since I signed up for this site. There was simply no need anymore. Can't say I'm surprised to hear it never recovered from the absurd events that spawned this site. I'm glad to be here.

I will say though it sucks that we had to make that move. I still sometimes do magic rules searches that bring me to salvation and I think we had built up a lot of search results on salvation back in the day. It sucks that everything did what it did but I do think Feyd gives us FAR far better support than we had gotten in the last many years on sally.

I remember trying to give feedback to the curse devs and even before they had launched the content they would almost completely ignore feedback given. It was very frustrating. I remember when they launched the deckbuilder and then essentially went completely silent like 2 days after launching it and then henceforth never seemed to touch it again. It was a very frustrating experience.

I lurked MTGS for years, but never actually made an account. Finally took the plunge when Nexus started up and made a clean(ish) slate. It's been a pleasure chatting with y'all!

I have never regretted leaving Sally. I hated the ads that would automatically start playing every time I opened a page. This forum seems more familial too.

I will say though, that I wish we had a livelier Cube forum and better spoiler announcement situation. I find myself looking at Sally sometimes for those things. It feels like the commander folks mostly came here but the limited/cube crowd barely migrated.

I could post my own cube, but yeah. Not much momentum in those areas. Most of my cube discussion is with my local playgroup though.

To make myself feel really old - I remember MTGNews and was even briefly a mod there, if you can believe it. So I've been around for two sinkings of MTG websites. I jumped to Nexus way faster than I made the leap to Salvation though, likely because of how convinced I was that it was the end and to not linger past the expiration date.

I've enjoyed my time at Nexus more than 'sally or News though. Ya'll are awesome.
