Chainer, Nightmare Adept: Elder Boomer Highlander

While mono-black has been my love for a long, long time, my first "good" deck was a black and red pile of removal and fatties. My curve topper was Ihsan's Shade, and it was glorious. This is my attempt to recreate that deck, with one caveat: old borders only.

Every card in this deck is available in a nonfoil old bordered frame (with the release of Ravnica Remastered) which should explain some of the stranger choices.

This is sweet. I don't ever foil my decks cause I don't like foils, but making a deck out of a certain border might be fun. One old border amongst new borders looks ugly imo, but an entire deck of old borders? That actually sounds sweet.

Understandable. I really like the idea. Reanimator always has some kind of olschool flavour for me.
