Here is the full list of teasers for those who are interested:

Before previews for Streets of New Capenna officially begin, I thought it would be fun to do another of my Duelist-style teasers where I give tiny hints of things to come. Note that I'm only giving you partial information.

First up, here are some things you can expect:

• five mana costs, using existing mana symbols, that we've never used before

• a spell that costs 13BB

• a mechanic we've tried to get in numerous sets finally finds a home

• a creature type theme for a draft archetype that's never been used before

• a red creature that can make token copies of creatures you control

• a card that adds WWUUBBRRGG

• a mechanic which first premiered in a Standard-legal set in the 00's sees a return to Standard

• a card that makes Cat and Dog tokens

• a draft theme caring about a threshold in the graveyard we haven't cared about before

• multiple white cards capable of drawing a card each turn

Next, here are some rules text that will be showing up on cards:

• "Then if you control ten or more creatures, you may play the exiled card without paying its mana cost."

• "Copy target spell you control that wasn't cast."

• "As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice a creature, discard a card, or pay 4 life."

• "If exactly three colors of mana were spent to activate this ability,"

• "Create a 1/1 blue Fish creature token"

• "When you cast this spell, copy it."

• "WUBRG, T, Sacrifice CARDNAME:"

• "where X is the number of permanents you've sacrificed this turn."

• "Count the colors of the sacrificed creature,"

• "You may cast any number of the copies without paying their mana costs."

Finally, here are some creature type lines in the set:

• Creature – Devil Warrior

• Creature – Raccoon Rogue

• Creature – Bird Assassin

• Creature – Plant Dinosaur

• Artifact Creature – Treasure Dog

• Artifact Creature – Angel Warrior

• Legendary Creature – Sphinx Demon

• Legendary Creature – Cat Citizen

• Legendary Creature – Cephalid Advisor

• Legendary Creature – Vampire Demon Noble

Check out the Streets of New Capenna debut on April 7th at 9:00 am PT on Twitch and YouTube.
My guess for this clue:

• a mechanic which first premiered in a Standard-legal set in the 00's sees a return to Standard

Is hideaway (from Lorwyn circa 2007). Why?

The one on the left is from the upcoming secret lair. For those of you who can't read Japanese (and I admit my Japanese is more than a bit rusty), they updated the rules text for the card. It now has Spinerock Knoll enters the battlefield tapped independent of hideaway. In addition, hideaway now has a numerical value associated with it, 4. (Also for comparison, you can find how the old Japanese hideaway text looked like here). Add in the flavor fitting for New Capena and I think it is the best guess (and for which faction, I am going with the Obscura wub).

Good eye. Especially with the "ten or more creatures" hint.
Psst, check the second page of Custom Card Contests & Games! Because of the daily contests, a lot of games fall down to there.

Yeah, I will say that hideaway including the 'enter tapped' clause (which also affects Watcher for Tomorrow) has felt pretty weird. I could see them tweaking the mechanic a bit to make it more intuitive (and doing some errata).
five mana costs, using existing mana symbols, that we've never used before
I'm going to predict a cycle of weird hybrid costs. Like .
multiple white cards capable of drawing a card each turn
Veeeeery interesting. Looks like they're further ramping up white's card draw abilities. We'll see how these work out...
Artifact Creature – Treasure Dog
Mixed subtypes make me happy for some reason.

I'll also call out that while this is a shard-colored set, looks like there may also be some 5C support. Looks like there is also some 'number of colors matters' support, which further pushes in that direction. Not clear yet though whether those are one-off cards or a broader set theme.

Honestly, Sphinx Demon and Vampire Demon Noble are type lines I didn't realize I wanted until now.

• a draft theme caring about a threshold in the graveyard we haven't cared about before
I imagine this will be the Maestros' theme, as their Charm is effective mill. Possibly having a card of each color in your graveyard, as that would fit the multicolor theme, and I don't believe we've seen that before. Also, having colorful dead things would seem to fit the art/assassination theme they have.
  • "Create a 1/1 blue Fish creature token"
I'm guessing this is going to be on a cutesy UB removal spell called Sleeping with the Fishes.
  • "Copy target spell you control that wasn't cast."
Now this is intriguing. I wonder how you're going to get spells without casting them.

a red creature that can make token copies of creatures you control
I don't know how it will be worded but what I can tell you is I'm 99.9 percent sure this is Urabrask

(Episode 1 of new capenna story revealed he's here hope vivien isn't victim number 2 of planeswalker compleation)

Only guess for ability is in line with when creatures attack copy of attacking creatures and when opponents creatures attack sacrifice half of them.

I think the Treasure Dog should be called Golden Retriever and when it etbs you return an artifact card from your graveyard to your hand. :)

Raffine is the Sphinx Demon, which confirms I'm siding with Obscura.
EDIT: for the Cephalid enjoyers, the art for at least one Cephalid card was shown in the story from today.

Might not be a faction mechanic, might be a full five-card cycle, flavored as secret bases/safehouses of the families.

Unlike the Triomes, which are out in the open and publicly linked with the factions, the Hideaway lands might be literally hidden away or are fronts for criminal activity; i.e. Basement Nightclub, Suspicious Pet Store, or Back-Alley Pub.
