Well, you copied sporegorger's IIW, but the card is not very interesting. Besides, Pandas are true bears.OneAndOnly wrote: ↑5 months agoPiebald Bear -

Now this I like. A correct typing, and a grammar lesson all in one? It's amazing! I also love the very creative use of cleave in this instance.Sporegorger_Dragon wrote: ↑5 months agoPanda that Eats[,] Shoots[,] and Leaves

Right, let's go!
The front side has an interesting set of abilities; usually the exile clause would be on the back side, to prevent it from being perpetually recast from the graveyard. I understand though that the point is to make an interesting play pattern, because otherwise there's little incentive to transform when you can simply recast it as a blocker, whereas as-worded it encourages attacking since successfully transforming it means you get to recast from the graveyard if it dies later.

Huh, I like the overall idea, but this seems a little too powerful; we do have lots of high-cost sorceries/instants that are game-winning.wonderful wrote: ↑4 months agoProfessor Fish

Speaking of which. This is an interesting one, since you can still cast with X=0 and still get some sort of effect, also applies to casting it for free. That's an interesting direction for X spells to take.OneAndOnly wrote: ↑4 months agoNucular Fish-ion --

Right on all fronts, from the reference, to the subtle gameplay loops I'm trying to encourage here. Initially, I gave it first strike and wither, but that seemed too good.Sporegorger_Dragon wrote: ↑4 months agoAh, the coelcanth! I assume this is referencing the discovery of the living coelacanth.

I was gonna read up on the rules for attacking until I saw "noncreature"... ok, fair. A very direct method of keeping something safe, more the put it in the museum than the thing that belongs in it, but still nice.Phyrexian Editor wrote: ↑4 months agoPreservation Decree

While I'm ok with losing treasures, I'm not sure if losing a potentially large chunk of my mana base is worth the reward at the end. Maybe instead of making a treasure, you can return a noncreature historic permanent card from your yard if you gained enough life?lookingupanddown wrote: ↑4 months agoCase of the Missing Artworks

Ok, someone else has to enter here. I really don't wanna win a default victory with this entry. I intentionally only made it tangentially related to the prompt to lose points.
