A lovely memorial to the great work of Oliver Knörzer and Puri Andini better know as Powree. Thier work to immortalize our greatness in the character Woo truley does deserve a Saga. This project would take many turns to enact but it does show the greatness of the comic they created. This is the only project submitted this year but man is it a good one.Krishnath wrote: ↑3 years agoSilver? Nice.

Ah yes, Pygyzy, the self proclaimed God of Racoons. They are known to pilfer others trash cans and brings greatness to the mask we all wear. They quite effective at all they do and are best known from their great escape from animal control back in 98'.
Next up we have Megiddo, the Hungry. Best known for their ability to find food and have excellent foresight, Megiddo is quite powerful for age and would make an excellent addition to the Joint Food Collection Committee and Urban Development Committee.
Next up we have Flatline, the great equalizer of food. Best know for their attempted raid on Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar's kitchen that ended up with both Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar and Flatline with no food and and all 270 life worth of food destroyed, Flatline's legacy is legendary and their feud seems to grow each day.Flatline wrote: ↑3 years agoTrash Panda

Spacemonaut is best known as the Bauble reclaimer as she is best known for finding amazing trinkets and bauble when dumpster diving for food. Phyrexian Editor. Man what a legend. Truly a Racoon with nerves of steel and and an eye for how to best upset the humans. judging rubric, in order of importance:
- silly: how silly and funny it is
- split how well the name matches the mechanics
- card: how good of a design it actually is
Split: A.
Card: B. Touch Me // I'll Break Your Face seems swingy. Press // Continue is very conservatively costed, which is fair but looks boring. Live is a bit... meh.
Split: A. Interesting dichotomy between the two in terms of synergy/antisynergy.
Card: B. I don't want to imagine how you'd actually print this but otherwise it's fun.
Split: B. "Tears" is a bit of a stretch.
Card: B. Bored // Tears is very efficient. Fish // Chips is... very not.
Split: A.
Card: B-. Both halves are quite functional but I really can't see them being played in any remotely fair deck lmao.
Split: A.
Card: A-. I wouldn't really see Pride as black, but otherwise fair. Prejudice seems like an aggressively costed mix between Crippling Fear and Kindred Dominance but I guess Pride is pretty weak/situational, so it might be alright.
Split: A.
Card: B. Tits are is very aggressive, especially when it makes fliers. I think this is somewhat (not really) comparable to Lingering Souls where this has the option to Ass vs. flashback.
Split: A.
Card: B. Back // The Future seems really strong. The Future especially, is costed at Time Warp levels but straight up can be cast from a graveyard.
Split: B. I do not understand Lemme Tell Ya // Another Thing at all lol
Card: D. Let's not print Stay Awhile.
Split: A.
Card: A. Interesting dichotomy
Split: B-. A bit tenuous, but I can see it.
Card: A. Misread it as a 4-for-1 initially but it's not that bad luckily. The discard on the aftermath half is an interesting way to make its free-ness less free.
Split: A.
Card: A. Nothing to complain about.
HM: anyone who got multiple As.
Winner: Ulka.

IIW: Disney Animated Canon (that means no Pixar)
Edit: Edited due to info from @NinjaCaterpie
Split: A.
Card: B. Touch Me // I'll Break Your Face seems swingy. Press // Continue is very conservatively costed, which is fair but looks boring. Live is a bit... meh.
Silly: A. Love it.Cythare wrote: ↑3 years agoHeavens
Instant (U)
Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt by nonwhite creatures this turn.
//
Betsy
⬤ Legendary Creature — Cow Advisor (U)
Whenever Betsy enters the battlefield or attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on target nonwhite creature you control.
Escape— , Exile four other cards from your graveyard.
3/3
IIW: A weapon fit for a farmhand
Split: A. Interesting dichotomy between the two in terms of synergy/antisynergy.
Card: B. I don't want to imagine how you'd actually print this but otherwise it's fun.
Silly: A-. Love it but now I'm craving some fish and chips for dinner.Sporegorger_Dragon wrote: ↑3 years agoBored
Sorcery (C)
Tap target creature. It doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.

Tears
Sorcery (C)
Aftermath (Cast this spell only from your graveyard. Then exile it.)
Destroy target creature if it's tapped.
Fish
Sorcery (U)

==========
Fuse (You may cast one or both halves of this card from your hand.)
==========
Chips
Sorcery (U)
Chips deals X damage to any target, where X is the number of creatures that entered the battlefield under your control this turn.
IIW: Ice Cream
Split: B. "Tears" is a bit of a stretch.
Card: B. Bored // Tears is very efficient. Fish // Chips is... very not.
Silly: A.
Split: A.
Card: B-. Both halves are quite functional but I really can't see them being played in any remotely fair deck lmao.
Silly: B. Reference is solid, if a bit serious.chetoos wrote: ↑3 years agoPride
Sorcery
Creatures you control get +1/+0 for each other creature you control that shares a creature type with that creature.
//
Prejudice
Sorcery
Choose a creature type. All creatures not of the chosen type get -4/-4 until end of turn.
(Not a lot of cards with pride in their name that aren't cat related, and they're all powerups in some way.
IIW: Interesting ways to use sagas.
Split: A.
Card: A-. I wouldn't really see Pride as black, but otherwise fair. Prejudice seems like an aggressively costed mix between Crippling Fear and Kindred Dominance but I guess Pride is pretty weak/situational, so it might be alright.
Silly: A. 👀
Split: A.
Card: B. Tits are is very aggressive, especially when it makes fliers. I think this is somewhat (not really) comparable to Lingering Souls where this has the option to Ass vs. flashback.

The Future
Sorcery
Aftermath (Cast this spell only from your graveyard. Then exile it.)
Take an extra turn after this one.
IIW: Ice Cream
Split: A.
Card: B. Back // The Future seems really strong. The Future especially, is costed at Time Warp levels but straight up can be cast from a graveyard.
Silly: A-. Lemme Tell Ya // Another Thing doesn't really fit that wellPygyzy wrote: ↑3 years agoStay Awhile

//
Another Thing
Sorcery (C)

Iiw: Old School
Split: B. I do not understand Lemme Tell Ya // Another Thing at all lol
Card: D. Let's not print Stay Awhile.

IIW: Alter egos from another multiverse or timeline
Split: A.
Card: A. Interesting dichotomy
Silly: S
Silly: B. This is printable. Should have gone for Heads, Shoulders, Knees // Toes.
Split: B-. A bit tenuous, but I can see it.
Card: A. Misread it as a 4-for-1 initially but it's not that bad luckily. The discard on the aftermath half is an interesting way to make its free-ness less free.
Silly: B. Pins // Needles is good fun, but Amount // Nothing is a really good name that I would have expected in Amonkhet.lookingupanddown wrote: ↑3 years agoPins
Sorcery (U)
Pins deals 1 damage to all creatures. They can't block this turn.

Press (to) Continue is a reference to old computer games that instead of having the text "press any button to continue, just had a button that said "press to continue". I honestly haven't seen it used since the mid 90's. I think the last game I saw it in was Eye of the Beholder III: Assault on Myth Drannor, but I could be remembering that wrong. (Also, the end boss in that game is a joke. Earlier in the game you can pick up a magic throwing hammer and by the time you meet him, your wizard should know time stop. Throw the hammer, cast time stop, and he just melts.)
Anyway, on to the challenge.
