@Raptorchan Yes, I confirm what I said, I'd like to host the LCI MCC month in December. The set is out on November 17th after all, and I like to wait until a set is officially released to host that set's MCC month, so that we all have had a chance to not only see but most of all play with that set and its mechanics and themes. How can you do Round 1 when we don't even know what they did in the set because previews aren't over yet at the beginning of the month? That's also why I usually wait until the start of the previews (and specifically the mechanics article and the debut video) to claim the month, so that I have something already in mind for the challenges when I do. But as I've already said it, I may as well claim December as MCC host for LCI right now. You're more than welcome as far as I'm concerned to host November with any other theme you like, and as always, feel free to ask for my help with that should you need it. And of course I'm looking forward to you playing the LCI MCC in December!

After I'm done republishing my articles I want to reprise the series focusing it more on editing, wording, and templating. Suggest potential future article topics here.

Speaking of which, did we ever have Origins-themed contest? If anyone doesn't remember, Origins was a quasi core set focused on five planeswalkers and their early years.bravelion83 wrote: ↑7 months ago@Raptorchan Yes, I confirm what I said, I'd like to host the LCI MCC month in December. I can't remember ever having a contest based on Magic Origins, at least not recently... we have certainly had contests with vague theming about character origins, but nothing tied to the set.
Psst, check the second page of Custom Card Contests & Games! Because of the daily contests, a lot of games fall down to there.

I remember I did an MCC month once where I had you create a legendary creature in Round 1 and in the final round I had their spark ignite and I asked you to make a DFC with a new version of that legendary creature on the front that transformed into a planeswalker on the back. I think I was inspired by Origins having just come out, but I can't remember now when it was exactly. Anyway, a long time has passed, and it might have even been on Salvation, not even here, so I'd say that more than enough time has passed since then, and I personally wouldn't mind seeing your own take on the theme.Raptorchan wrote: ↑7 months agoSpeaking of which, did we ever have Origins-themed contest?
