Ooh, I like this one for Chainer. That cost reduction is really only going to affect when I use Yawgmoth's Will, but it's nice. The lifelink and tutoring any card certainly make it more appealing to me than Corpse Connoisseur.

Needed to be a 2b 2/2 instead of this bloated version to really make waves.

Pretty nice with Past in Flames. Put Past in Flames into your graveyard and go ham..I mean snake.

Had it done that, it would have made too much of a wave in Legacy with reanimator.

However this will still be a fun cube card for nonpowered cubes.

I mean Buried Alive is too expensive to run in reanimator in Legacy (as far as I know), so I don't think this really would break the format. Spells costing less I don't think is that relevant to reanimator either? Faithless Looting would cost 1r from graveyard instead.

Honestly I think at that cost it would have perked the interest of other formats. Like some decks might play one or two, but no more than that. I feel like they missed a good opportunity here.
