That's a cool design - looks like a Draft theme signal to me. However... Well, organic Gnomes are few and far between in Magic. I don't think anything is hurt by making this a colored artifact creature - except the typeline's font size.

organic Gnomes are few and far between in Magic. I don't think anything is hurt by making this a colored artifact creature - except the typeline's font size.

I don't think anything is hurt by making a plane's featured race nonartifact Gnomes. I mean, we have a canonical card that is a nonartifact Construct and planes with artifact Human creatures.

Is it okay for you, if it is a Primeval/Stranger Things situation where a bio-weapon gets cross-bred with a more mundane creature (in this case a Goat) and some stupid kid adopts the cross-breed as a pet?

Just to be clear, you've been posting designs that are well-crafted enough that the only thing I CAN say is a flavor quibble. Well done.

I'd be happy to accept that setting, if you will, for Sick Pet - Carrier is just a creature type where you need a "reason" to use it imo.

This is just me being stubborn but I would always prefer to see Magic's Gnomes be artifact creatures. That's one of the unique universal flavor quirks of this game - apart from the set that's full of it-doesn't-counts, Legends, and Quarum Trench Gnomes - and I'd like to keep it that way just because I want the M:tG-D&D barrier to be thick as possible.

Boggart Pot-Thief is great, but could it untap the artifact?

"Loses crew" feels off for some reason -- I think my brain just goes "it should be 'loses all [ability name here] abilities' for abilities which specify values" but there doesn't seem to be a precedent for that, so I don't know where I got that from.

But hey, the important part is, it's pretty decent. It has one job, and it does that pretty well (but a 2/2 flasher for 3 is not without its uses, either).

Weird unintended interactions with indestructible? The mana ability on Cultivator's Caravan. There are quiet a few custom card Vehicles out there already. Maybe it should be "it cannot be crewed this turn".

I buy white getting life drain in context - there have been the Machine Orthodoxy duders from NPH and the Orzhov extort cards. Deathtouch seems harder to justify as a contextual addition to monowhite.
