Creature tokens get -5/-5.
When a creature dies, each opponent loses 1 life.
When creature token dies, you gain 1 life.

I think the first one is too narrow. I'm not sure how to balance it, but my initial thought is "juice not worth squeeze." Miserable Lich I think could skip the first two lines and be the same card, no? Since it makes you sacrifice nontoken permanents. Obviously you lose some function there but I'm looking at this as a Lich card first and a token wrath second.Sporegorger_Dragon wrote: ↑1 year agoExtermination

Miserable Lich
Enchantment (M)
When Miserable Lich enters the battlefield, exile all tokens.
Players can't create tokens.
If damage would be dealt to you, exile that many nontoken permanents instead.
When Miserable Lich leaves the battlefield, you lose the game.
IIW: Embarrassing moments for legendary creatures/planeswalkers
Scrap tokens are cool. But they are tokens!!! The transmutation of one token into another is still a token. Good hate; cycling helps when it's dead. Update: I realized this only hits artifact tokens? Very limited.
More Demonds. I'm enjoying the idea that this Demon's name is "Culler" and that his title is "The Nameless" (contradictory though that is). If I'm reading this right this allows people to have one token of any given type, though if it overlaps with a creature type you already have you would lose it. I actually like this; I now wish this were legendary so that one could build a "wacky token type" commander deck around it. Serfs, Thrulls, Graveborn? Etc.lookingupanddown wrote: ↑1 year agoCuller the Nameless

When Culler the Nameless enters the battlefield, destroy all nonlegendary token creatures.
Whenever a nonlegendary token creature enters the battlefield, its controller sacrifices it unless it shares no creature types with any other creature on the battlefield.

Like Ulka's card, very limited. Hating on Treasure/Food/Clues is... not worth a card slot? IDK. Ironically I could see this being printed and then becoming a $20 card five years later.

Impossible Landscape is great in 5-color, but the card's usefulness drops hard below 3 colors. Guess the basic restriction is to avoid basic land subtype shenanigans, but seems slightly unnecessary. Gravitational Weirding is cool, but seems like it's in the color most likely to get screwed over by it. Maybe it can work as a black card?Mergatroid_Jones wrote: ↑1 year agoImpossible Landscape

Interesting manafixing land. Basic landcycling+ that also triggers off sac effects and nonbasic LD seems super useful, but I might consider adding a mana gate when not from your hand.
And here's the big complicated mechanic. Splay feels like the graveyard-based attempt to bring Augment into black border using Mutate tech. It would bring a lot of good decisions points in gameplay, but like Mutate people may get distracted by all the corner cases that it won't really get far.Juancu wrote: ↑1 year agoMirrorfade Knight

Well, I don't think there will be any more entries, so let's get to it.
Pretty nifty set of abilities too.
You've effectively portrayed this by having a whole mess of battles enter, with the risk of having some of them come under an opponent's control, but the search part isn't obligatory, which I think decreases the fun chaos of it a bit.
Well, all in all, I feel The Wanderer's plight is more tragic than anything else, and Norn's defeat more narratively convenient than embarrassing, so the wins goes to Kiora for damaging a rare artifact, presumably by trying to use it to open an oyster or something.

The Wanderer does have a lot on her plate, and there is always the risk of whatever affliction she has transferring to us. Interesting set of hosing abilities, the counter-removing part is clearly meant to represent unstable planeswalking, but reads to me more as black-aligned.Mergatroid_Jones wrote: ↑1 year agoMishaps of the Wanderer

Kiora evidently tried to use it in a more conventional way, and if she's not careful she'll end up with a Staff of Thassa.
