This has the potential to be a beefier bloom tender. Not splashier or as early an accelerant, or an elf, but still very strong in decks with more then 3 colors.

Love it for WUBRG EDH decks, should be solid as a mana dork in Limited, don't really see it as a Constructed card but stranger things have happened.

Bloom Tender, it is not. Still, being an above-curve beater when you don't need the mana is a relevant upside. (also: bloom tender reprint when?)

It is. it's a potential 5/5 for 3 that taps for five mana. That's pretty powerful, although it does need to be in the right deck. On the other hand, I don't think you would want this effect at common/uncommon, since it is expected that most limited decks in the format will be 1-2 colors. You don't want be encouraging people to build five color decks if the format isn't designed to support it.

it just reads really interesting to me I suppose. maybe I was a little off the cuff because I really like the treefolk type and this one reads incomplete. by incomplete I mean not doran colors lol.

after further inspection and inputs I guess at worst its a 2/2 with vigilance that taps for GW. and on curve that seems pretty ok, especially if your win con is wolf's quarry
