One of the core concepts of MTGNexus is to uplift and support the greater Magic community and to bridge the gap between all Magic sites. It is our mission to recognize that other sites are not our competition, but our community brethren that should be supported and partnered with whenever possible. The Community Hub is great example of our commitment to this.
When we first launched, we had only a dozen written article sources in our hub. Since then, we've grown tremendously, and have added areas for Podcasts, Videos, and Streams. We always want to continue to grow, and would love to add new content creators. If you write articles, record a podcast, or make videos, we would love to add you to our hub. (Twitch Streamers need not apply, as they are automatically listed as long as their stream has Magic the Gathering listed as the game)
Joining the Hub
There are only a few things we need to be able to add you to the hub:
- Your site or content home must have a working feed.
Articles should have a title, url, and publish date, at minimum. Any standard format is fine. Descriptions and authors are encouraged. Most podcast hosts automatically offer an RSS feed, as does Youtube and other video-hosting platforms.
- Your content must be specifically Magic related.
Your site or content home can of course feature other, non-magic, topics, but we need a Magic-only feed that filters these out. This way, we can showcase your Magic-related content without clogging up the Hub with Yugioh and other games.
- Your content must be approved for all/most audiences.
We do not accept risque, lewd, or real-world political content, even if they are Magic related. Our site is designed for use by all ages, and the content that we showcase and link to should be as well. Podcasts and Streams should use the Explicit/Mature flag for adult language.
If your content meets the above simple requirements, please post below or use the Contact Us page! Please link specifically to your magic feed, your content home, and anything else we might need. Articles and Podcasts all have a logo icon. If you have one, let me know, otherwise I'll make one for you.
