So last week featured seven cards from the cardset
[Tribute] Achadire. Some of you may have
read about Achadire on this site before.
The [Tribute]-series is me completing unfinished set-ideas I've run into and the Collaborative Create-A-Booster Game not only provides some neat seed-cards to grow a cardset from, but also naturally gave me an approach to doing so: Just create another booster.
The restrictions of creating a set a booster at a time is pleasing to me: I get to fill out the commons a lot more quickly, seeing a prospective Limited environment form really quickly. I keep thinking about where to put staples like artifact/enchantment removal and ramp spells quickly. I keep a certain color balance and also force myself to make uncommons and rares/mythic rares at a certain pace.
But even greater are the restrictions the seed booster puts on me implying mechanical themes and introducing keywords that somehow must be made to form a cohesive whole.
