The floor here is still reasonable in non-G decks IMO. I wouldn't be embarrassed to play this, particularly off an early rock or Sol Ring. Definitely worth every bit of the suggested 78 cents.

Yeah that's fair. You pay 1 extra for a telegraphed but instant speed NO. It's technically a rattlesnake too. If I know someone is playing Kamahl, Fist of Krosa and has mana up I'm going to think twice about tossing our that Armageddon.

Cool, I don't think I've seen this one before. It's fine I guess, although getting double dipped not only by the tap, but the additional mana cost, and additional sacrifice makes it feel pretty bad.

Various Doran and other butt-fighting decks should love this. They're almost always in W and the price is right.

I can think of a lot worse cards to repeatedly Survival of the Fittestinto play with Sneak Attack. It's a fun design and I can't get mad at it.

I guess I'll give it partial credit for not being a deterministic combo card, but that's about the only nice thing I can say here. You're never playing this to do something fun or cool.

This reads to me as too chaotic to play seriously, and all the chaos decks are UR max so it doesn't even have a home there in my estimate. I do like wheels to mess up everyone's plans, but getting control of the modes in a standard EDH game is a pain.

It's terribly unexciting but solid. I guess I don't spend money on cards in that quadrant very often anymore because I wouldn't lift a finger to get a copy of this.

I'm a big AEW fan so I'm mostly familiar with him for his music. I only learned he was a musician after seeing him wrestle for years. He was only a few years older than me and from the outpouring of love he's getting on the Internet it sounds like he was an absolutely incredible person beyond his ...

Gooner goblins has raised a philosophical dilemma, lol. On one hand I am 100% ok with proxies as a way to make the game accessible and alt art doesn't bother me in general. On the other hand this is perverted AI cringe and I'm 100% opposed to such. If someone sat down with this at my table I think I ...

Oh I need a copy of this for Sigarda if I ever decide to update that. It's probably wipe number 5 or 6 in there but it's doing almost exactly what I'm after.

Perfectly cromulent removal. Sure, you're not playing this in decks with better answers, but tucking literally anything you can target should never be discounted.

Speed isn't really something I have on my mind unless I'm running a commander that uses it, but in that case this is really just icing on the cake. Outside a dedicated speed deck I'm not sure +1 on turn 3 at best is worth the trouble.

An unexciting W. Works great in all sorts of stuff and it's an optional ability so you're never afraid to blink her. Card draw is icing on the cake if you're into playing a little hug.

Re:

What's the opinion on the MSCHF secret lair booster whatever things? It seems like people generally like the aesthetic, but personally while I kinda did a "oh, huh, imitating the original playtest cards, that's cute" I can't imagine wanting to play one of them over any normal printing of the same ...

I am completely certain that Unfinity was deliberate self-sabotage so players would never ask for another Un set. There is no way professional game designers created it in earnest.

I haven't worked on Fynn, the Fangbearer in a while but the next time I get around to it this will go in for sure. All of my removal in that deck is fight and pseudo-fight like this and once you're past the instant options you're just looking for value. Deathtouch makes the Discover even better.

Is this another thing me and @3drinks agree on? I didn't mind aetherdrift personally.

Honestly I've pretty much abandoned any real hate for UW sets aesthetics. You can say that Road Rage feels out of place in magic, but it's all pretty minor compared to Stark Industries Executive and Turtles ...

Can't say I remember this being printed, but I also tend to blank out UB cards pretty quickly. Seems like a perfectly reasonable soldier commander - haste and vigilance being very handy considering you're likely on tokens, so trample doesn't feel terribly relevant. Being able to use the ...

I really like him but I agree with all the criticisms across the board. As a commander he's in a very awkward spot for a number of previously mentioned reasons. That doesn't keep me from liking him, but the ceiling and floor here are both pretty darn low. Still, if I was in the market for a spell ...
