125 Card Expansion Set
By jimothy_jimothy
A cyberpunk city, brimming with crime
All cards found in Neon Nexus are balanced and can be played in commander (Potentially other formats) as long as you have your group's permission. This excludes Reality Sliver, which is likely too overpowered. (Go ahead, play it if you want.)

All art on cards in Neon Nexus was generated by Google's Gemini AI.
All text on cards was NOT designed with AI in any way, including flavor text and new mechanics.

Mechanics

Make an offer - If target opponent makes an offer, he or she will exchange control of a permanent he or she controls with one that you control with the same or lesser mana value.

Gamble - To gamble X, name a nonland card type and reveal the top X cards of your library. You lose life equal to the number of cards not of the chosen type revealed this way, then put all cards of the chosen type into your hand. Put the remaining cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Hack - To hack an opponents hand, look at that player's hand and exile one of the lowest mana value nonland cards from it. You may cast it this turn. If that player has a land in hand and no card that costs 0 mana, you may not exile any cards.

Overclock - To overclock, pay the overclock cost, When you do, double all effects that appear higher up on the card in the rules text box if that effect can be doubled. Ex. "All creatures get +1/+1." becomes "All creatures get +1/+1. All creatures get +1/+1." This means that effects such as "When this creature attacks, draw a card. This ability triggers only once each turn." can trigger twice. Effects that can not otherwise stack, such as haste, activated abilities, ninjitsu etc. are not doubled by overclock. Sacrifice the overclocked permanent at the next end step.

Reprogram - To reprogram X, if the reprogramming card is in your graveyard, exile X cards from it. If that card is in exile, mill X cards instead. You may cast the reprogrammed card without paying its mana cost until end of turn. To reprogram, you must pay the reprogram cost as well as meet the number value requirement that follows.

Cycles in Neon Nexus
-Borderless mono-colored equipment cycle (5 cards)
-Borderless dual-colored council members cycle (4 cards)
