I've always wanted to get into Pauper! Looking through my collection, I've got 4x Lightning Bolt, 4x Chain Lightning and 4x Goblin Grenade, so I'd love to know whether there's a viable blast deck out there! All the lists I've seen recently (mostly by reading Kendra Smith's articles on coolstuffinc) seem to be based around value creatures and I'm wondering if it's worth breaking out the mono-red. Thanks!
Burn is definitely a very viable deck! This is an example of competitive Burn list:

Some other cards that occasionally make it into the maindeck are Flame Rift, Magma Jet, Shard Volley, Firebrand Archer. I like to play a completely creatureless version of Burn.
Red Aggro or "Red Deck Wins" has gotten bit more popular these days, since it's less susceptible to a large Weather the Storm. This is what that deck usually looks like:

Usually it only runs Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Goblin Grenade as the best burn spells...sometimes Fireblast too.
