Thinking about making a Witherbloom deck (i.e. life and token related), and will likely include all the relatable legends. The question though: Who should lead the team?

Classic

Dina, Soul Steeper
Beledros Witherbloom
Gyome, Master Chef
Willowdusk, Essence Seer
Blex, Vexing Pest // Search for Blex
Valentin, Dean of the Vein // Lisette, Dean of the Root

Alternative

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord - Since life drain and creatures-buffing are involved.
Baba Lysaga, Night Witch - Blended theme?
Savra, Queen of the Golgari - The original.

Dina's top 75 on EDHREC, I wonder if there's new places to take her at all? Blex and Valentin are much less played and more ripe for the picking, especially Valentin who is very very optionsy, plus I find both sides of the card have really pretty art. I would definitely pick Valentin if it was my choice, while staying aware that whatever playstyle the deck ends up having is going to need a lot of excess mana hanging around.

I like Valentin. I think Lisette is pretty cool (she's just a bootleg Archangel of Thune), but Valentin is also pretty good. I played a Beledros version, and it was okay.
