Welcome to the Card Creation League! Everyone is free to participate in either or both of the first two rounds. Come join us!

Theme

It's Predefined Tokens Month here at the CCL. There's a lot I can say about how R&D uses these tokens - Food, Clues, Treasures, and their various ilk - as a design tool they've leaned heavily on in recent years, for both good and ill. I do hope we can spark some discussion. For now, let's just see what WE can do with them.

Anyone can enter this second round regardless of whether or not you entered the first round! Your submissions are due Sunday, November 20th, 23:59 EST.

• Round 1 — Open to Everyone (November 1st-8th)
• Round 2 — Open to Everyone (November 14th-20th)
• Rounds 1 and 2 Critiques (Due November 22nd)
• Top 8 — Open to top 8 finishers (November 23rd–28th)
• Top 8 Critiques (Due November 30th)
• Top 4 — Open to top 4 finishers (December 1st–4th)
• Top 4 Critiques (Due December 6th)
• Final (December, winner determined by public poll)

Please note: For this month we will continue asking first and second round contestants to evaluate seven other contestants during the critique and top 3 period, in order to increase the total number of evaluations each contestant gets.

Whenever Pioneer's Wagon deals combat damage to an opponent, you may search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
Sacrifice a Food: Pioneer's Wagon becomes an artifact creature until end of turn.

Cudgel-Wishing Table

At the beginning of your end step, if you control two or more tapped creatures, create a Food token.
Whenever a creature attacks you, if you sacrificed a Food this turn, Cudgel-Whishing Table becomes a 2/1 Construct artifact creature with double strike until end of turn.
It gives dinner to the fighting ones and fights for the dining ones.

netn10: Cool and balanced card in both the execution and flavor. Three mana is a fair rate for this type of effect in the power creep climate.

slimytrout: This card seems perfect for normal Magic design nowadays. It's a good card to exist within the feeder system of getting lands out of decks.

kwanyeegor: This table is pretty good and the addition of "Noble" in the reduction of spells is a noble thing to do.

Lord Asborn Schutta: Basic but works decently well in limited formats.
