Never have I ever, activated a planeswalker ultimate in a commander game.

That ends with this deck! With Carth the Lion in play, 90% of the planeswalkers in this deck will ultimate on their second activation.

Some of the more devastating ones:

Vraska, Relic Seeker
Liliana, Dreadhorde General
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon

Others generate some big value with the ultimate and pop off right away:

Garruk, Cursed Huntsman
Nissa, Vital Force

We can all dream about ulting planeswalkers - but let's fuel these friends!

I am running an elves tribal deck along with the walkers. Just the mana guys and Allosaurus Shepherd.

I would love input from anyone who has played superfriends or elves in the past — and I need help with cuts! I'm at 105 right now, with 35 lands.

Oath of Nissa does too much for G , actually Oath of Liliana is also pretty cool and on theme!

Cool deck

I wound up going a more generic shell - essentially dropping the elves and invalidating my thread title.

Ramp package now is all the 1 drop elf dorks, birds, deathrite shaman, natures lore, three visits, and a couple rocks.

First game out, the thing I noticed off the bat is that the second half of Carth the Lion's first ability comes up a lot. Planeswalkers died to their own ultimates or to combat damage, and they just replaced themselves.

The other thing I noticed was that I was tunnel-visioned on ultimating walkers to my detriment. There were cases where I definitely should have used a defensive walker ability in lieu of going for broke (Garruk, Cursed Huntsman I'm looking at you!)

Will post up the updated list when I've got the deck in front of me!
