In an alternate timeline, Phyrexia's first invasion of Dominaria was repulsed even before Rath was used as a weapon, leading Evincar Crovax to go rogue and seemingly take Rath out of the multiverse with an advanced flowstone drive. In this timeline, the Mirran Overlay occurs, pitting Mirrodin, the artificial plane created by Karn with peaceful intentions, against its opposite, Rath, a harsh and violent world devoted to the Phyrexian way of war!

A series of Omenpaths have opened up in Theros's Underworld, allowing dangerous dead souls, including the Titans Skotha and Phlage, to escape into other planes. Unable to leave the plane themselves, the Gods have tasked their Demigods, lead by Calix, to recapture the Wayward Souls and return them to the Underworld.

It has been declared so by Alrund himself: the Great Doomskar is coming. A moment where the Realms of Kaldheim all merge together, temporarily existing one atop another, where the great Cosmos Beasts themselves will freely enter. Many see this as an opportunity to gain glory or seize power, but others believe it could spell the end of Kaldheim as we know it. Regardless, everyone is preparing for the greatest event of their lives.

Xemol was once a bountiful plane of artifice, until the construct creations rebelled against their makers and create a pure, fully mechanical plane. Planeswalkers avoided it at all costs, but with the Omenpaths now opening, explorers from across the planes find themselves delving for lost relics and secrets of arcanotech, but will they escape before the mechanical factions capture them?
