Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from green and from white.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, exile up to one target creature you own, then search your library for a basic land card. Put both cards onto the battlefield under your control, then shuffle.

Ramps and flickers? Looks like an instant EDH staple if I've ever seen one. Ramping is a bit more conditional than Sword of the Animist, but it also works really well with double strike and provides more stats + evasion. Also some anti-theft tech, which can be relevant.

....not quite as clear if it will have a place in Modern, since ramping is a little more niche there. Could definitely be a value flicker deck that wants it though - seems fun to fetch with Stoneforge Mystic, then flicker the Mystic and fetch something else.

....shouldn't Hearth and Home be R/G though?

I would've gone with Heaven and Earth, but this works too.

Sounds like a good use for Ulvenvald Hydra or anything that makes tokens, for starters. Also, Aurelia, the Warleader.
