Is this good removal. No. Is it passable removal, sometimes. Most likely this is a late pick card that the one deck at the table who is drafting Party will be super happy to pick up two or three with pick 13 or 14. And that's fine.

Zof? Nice. Zendikar before the Eldrazi was an incredibly elaborate world with multiple continents each filled multiple regions corresponding to the basic land types, special places with weird stories that don't get particularly explored in the cards and name-dropped locations. All probably for the purpose of making the plane seem like a very vast place with plentiful of opportunities for adventuring. Every name just a seed for a rolepülaying adventure - exactly appropriate for the adventuring world.
All of these names now come in incredibly handy when naming the spell-lands. Zof returns from a single card's name and flavor text. Helix of Zof? Tell me more!
