Kelsien - Slowly, Gently, this is how a life is taken

So Mardu is one of the few three color combinations, that I completely love. I've previously experimented with great success with Tymna the Weaver and Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder as an aggro deck. When Kelsien got spoiled I saw a lot of potential. Some strengths he has are:

• * Haste: This makes him very re-playable
  * Vigilance: He can attack the turn he comes down, and run someone over.
  * 3 CMC: In my experience commanders with 3 CMC are very good equipmenet carriers.
  * Grows on his own: Suited well for control oriented gameplay

As such, I brain stormed a deck with @ISBPathfinder. We have very different metas so there are some noteable differences, but the core of the deck looks very similar.

I think there is one exceptional equipment you are missing. It is thornbite staff. Yes, I understand deathtouch is also desirable for the instant machine gun. However, This allows you to kill every x/1 on the battlefield. This seems highly synergistic.
