Let the discussion commence!
By TCG Market, which is what I usually use, Vista is about $20 and Foothills is about $25. So you'd be losing about $20 on such a trade. I'd ask for another Vista, if you're looking for Vistas. The Fluff wrote: ↑4 years agoHi, may I ask the opinion of others on this. Have a playset of khans Wooded Foothills in good condition. Another player wants to trade a playset of Prismatic Vista for my set of foothills. Is this a fair trade?
So long as you both use the same reference, it's fine. I like TCG Market because that's indicative of what cards are actually selling for, not what someone WANTS them to be selling for.The Fluff wrote: ↑4 years agooh, didn't know that the gap was 5 dollars. thanks. I'll try to negotiate if they're willing to add some more to the trade.
Mostly use SCG as price reference, so I thought the price gap was only 3 dollars.
And I also had the imagination that Vistas would rise in price...
Yeah, that's fair. Those two printings are within a few bucks in price, and you're probably actually getting the better end of the deal since you're getting some cash.
I ended up just giving him the Chainer, since the values were so low. Probably going to pick up Pramikon to build around at some point.
That's a great deal for you. Not only is the Todd Lockwood art way better, but those Paths go for $6-$10 depending on the set. The WPN promo foil is only about $16. I'd definitely take Pile A.The Fluff wrote: ↑4 years agoHi, a person wants a trade a set of near mint normal path to exile from various sets to my single near mint WPN Path to Exile - Rebecca Guay art. Is this a fair trade?
pile a: four near mint normal path to exile from various sets
pile b: one near mint foil WPN Path to Exile - Rebecca Guay art.
Both are EDH legal, and I've been told that I should put more Diamonds in aggressive decks. Mox Diamond is an irreplaceable effect in decks that want it, and the only reason that I'm even considering letting one go is because it'd be for a good friend's Legacy deck.
In general yes, trading Modern cards into Reserve List cards is a good idea. I'd pick the Drake every time.vandertroll wrote: ↑4 years agoI have 3 Force of Negation. Trade one for a Gilded Drake? I use all of them in Edh decks but the drake would slot great in my new aminatou deck replacing the force. Thoughts?
EDIT: I'm in Europe so the price difference is not so big
