I'd say pretty good, in terms of 3-mana rocks. Might see some standard play, and will be quite solid in Limited. Can't imagine anyone caring outside of those two though.

I don't know if they will become staples, but the cycling part will sell many players. There are few mana rocks in Commander that are good both early game and late game (when the mana is no longer that much relevant and you can cycle these for something better).

The Alara Obelisks and the Tarkir Banners are already staples in 3color commander decks, these are better than those because if you get them late game you don't have to play them first so you can get rid of them for a card. Cycling is considerably cheaper than paying 6 mana for a card.

Nope. Wizards know how to manufacture easily memorizable names like they did for the guilds and shards with the express intent of having names for the color combinations. These new names are not designed that way, which means the intent is likely to be what anyone would expect: Us to continue using the names we already have.

these seem like they have the potential to be staples in commander. mana rocks that can be cycled if you don't need them
