Kaldra Compleat

If I attack with a creature equipped with Kaldra Compleat and the defending player blocks with something smaller than it. When the defending creature dies does it get exiled after it hits the graveyard or just it just stay in the graveyard

The dead creature will remain in the graveyard. After it dies and changes zones, the creature card is a new game object, so Kaldra Compleat's granted ability will no longer be able to track it. Contrast its wording with Unscythe, Killer of Kings.
