Welcome to the Card Creation League! Everyone is free to participate in either or both of the first two rounds. Come join us!

Theme

It's The Other Evergreens Month here at the CCL. This month will focus on the evergreen keywords and keyword actions used in every set other than ones directly related to creature combat.

Challenge

Design a card that counters something, a card that destroys something, a card that exiles something, and a card that causes something to be sacrificed.

• You must design four cards, one for each of those keyword actions. Your countering card, for example, can also exile cards, but you'll still have to make a second card that exiles.
• Your cards may counter, destroy, exile, or cause the sacrifice of any number of objects of any kind controlled by any players. That is to say, Cremate would be just as valid as Final Judgment as a card that causes exile, for example.
• Make sure to include a rarity.

Please note: For this month we will continue asking first and second round contestants to evaluate seven other contestants during the critique and top 3 period, in order to increase the total number of evaluations each contestant gets.

Exile target player's graveyard. Pyre of Oblivion deals 2 damage to that player.

Destroy target noncreature, nonland permanent Pyre of Desolation deals 2 damage to that permanent's controller.
1{R/G}, Exile Pyre of Desolation from your graveyard: Pyre of Desolation deals 2 damage to target creature with flying.

Shaile banned the phrase "This statement is false" as magic words for counterspells, deeming it too powerful for first-year students to grasp.

Target opponent sacrifice an enchantment. Create two copies of it, except they are Enchantments, Auras and Curses and loses all other types. Attach them to that player. They gain "At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 1 life."

Exile:

Exile target creature you control with any number of time counters. If it doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend. When it enters the battlefield, exile it, then reveal the top card of your library until you reveal a creature card with mana value equal to the amount of time counters it had when it started the journey, put it onto the the battlefield, the shuffle.
