With Modern Horizons 2 on the way, I'd like to list some card ideas I'd like to see (some of them might be pared down versions of cards that I'd hope to see, but I'm not certain wizards would print into Modern).
Spell Smothering
Instant
Counter target spell with converted mana cost 3 or less.
(I'd rather have counterspell, but this, or a 1u version of this, would still at least not fall of when the opponent has extra mana and not many cards, and will counter sometimes things with higher mana costs than it's cost)
Retire to the Farm
Instant
Exile target creature. It's owner gains life equal to it's converted mana cost.
Hovering Bookcase

Grand Warlock's Charm looks really strong. I'd play that even at Vraska's Contempt has been doing well for me in pioneer. The white charm is good too.

that looks really strong in a Bitterblossom deck. Lords can easily fix the lack of power. And that enchantement which gives +1/+1 to creatures with flying.
