I remember the Invasion precon "Domain". When we played precon vs. precon, the domain deck packed a lot of punch once 4 or 5 basic lands are assembled. Using Gaea's Might on a Stratadon did a lot of damage!

For being better than Serra Angel, this card doesn't see much play anywhere as far as I know.

I really like it, but I've never actually sleeved it up.

So this white symmetric draw thing Mark keeps crowing about - it DOES have precedent after all!

This card is flavorful but I legitimately don't think anyone designing cards even knew the actual value of card draw back then; drawing two cards and gaining 4 life are not even close to equally valuable effects. One of those costs about three mana, or even more if you're not in blue. The other costs about, say, one. You would have to be in real dire straits to pick either of the lifegain possibilities here.

Now if that said "4 life" or "5 life" per undrawn card, then it gets interesting at the kitchen table.

Good ole staple standard Counterspell. It's hard to want more than this, but every time I see some Cancel variant with scry, or surveil, or cycling or whatever, I give it the side-eye.

This is a funky card that makes me glad for the kitchen table. There are lots of wacky decks that can use this and not one specific combo.

actually, I've used the knight years ago in legacy even when the combo did not exist yet. She fetch lands to complete the color of my zoo deck, and can reach a size comparable to tarmogoyf. Tarmo at that time was super expensive, could not afford it, the knight was a decent substitute.
