I think that per your saying so, it would probably be more red than white, and while it's fragile it comes down so early that I just do believe someone would use it to make a broken artifact combo even more consistent. It does feel like a good use of a non-artifact gnome though.

Cythare: This is a lot of cards. Overall, this feels like a cool creature type for devoid but I'm not feeling a ton of cohesive identity.

I was originally planning to come back in with a set blurb to provide context, but I forgot. They were originally less cohesive, but this version at least tied into a world design I could see being viable. From a design perspective, I was imagining a colorless-matters set with a different angle than Eldrazi. The prisms were originally "refract/filter one thing into another", and after some feedback, they were all changed to "discard a colorless card" to make devoid more relevant and to give them some cohesion.

The idea was that this would take place on an artifact world (maybe with colored artifacts too?) and the prisms would be spilling out from the Blind Eternities. The Gatewatch would come to investigate because "oh no Eldrazi" only to find out that the prisms don't serve the same function for the multiverse than the eldrazi do, and that they're relatively benign, only eating artifacts (and, from a mechanical but not lore perspective, lands) for some unknown purpose that doesn't involve the destruction of whole planes. This set would also include the Oath of Tamiyo, because Tamiyo is interested in trying to understand more about how the Blind Eternities ecosystem works, and since this mission doesn't involve fighting the prisms in an all-out battle, she's convinced that the Gatewatch is something that she can see taking part in.

I didn't want them to be a cycle quite like the titans where they all have the same stats/cmc, so I opted for this looser cycle.

Yes. Two CMC, no Generic mana in the casting cost. Colorless and hybrid count as a pip,

chetoos: The effects feel a lot more Golgari (or even Rakdos) than Gruul, especially with the sac trigger.

TacticalCelebrant: A day late and a Blind Eternity short.

Cythare: Not fond of the concept of a Saga Creature. Would have been much better without giving it legs.

jamblock: Mana order is backwards (Generic, Hybrid, then Color/Colorless). Double sac triggers for 2 CMC is a bit steep.

haywire: Love the idea of using this against your opponent. A great way to neuter land without involving LD.

mellifluoresce: Simple, elegant, useful design. And one of my favorite tribes.

Krishnath: Some templating issues here, but the real failure is for the number of spiders created not to trigger off toughness.

My initial thought was to try to convert the Epic of Gilgamesh into a series of Sagas that you can chain together, but this is likely way too complex for common, and feels less compelling to me at a higher rarity. I'll come up with something else later, maybe.

EDIT: As noted in a chat, caring about rarity isn't something that can be done in black-bordered land, so I was stuck for a bit. I've since realized that other Sagas are all monocolored, so limiting it to only grabbing multicolor sagas still fits within the parameters I'd initially hoped for (to not just grab any Saga in this theoretical set) while also making them slightly more future-flexible. I also adjusted the text on Vol. II to allow you not to choose a target if you care more about the search (such that it aligns with the other volumes). These are also probably more appropriate at uncommon since they tutor, so I can do that and don't have to hamstring their abilities or overshoot their effects at the common rarity.

EDIT EDIT: I've decided to make these common again, since otherwise the tutoring will often never come up in Limited.
