duplication of custom cards

is there a way to duplicate a card ive already made in another set, to save me having to make the card all over again from scratch??

No, unfortunately at this time there is no function that duplicates custom cards. Our dev team consists essentially of one person (Feyd) and the custom card creator is a big, complex area of the site, but we strive to always add new features and this has been requested a number of times now.
