If I still had a Norin deck this would be an auto-include, probably. Maybe I can use it in my Marchesa rebuild, but I also expect folks to abuse this with Mycosynth Lattice.

Well, this could get Revel in Riches banned in Commander...

Big Doubt. It's already possible to shorten the window of Revel in Riches a bit by flashing in a wipe with 10 creatures on the board. Revel isn't warping anything, even with the new gobo.

Side note, I don't like these type of win conditions and have been wanting to sharpie-out Revel's second trigger so that it's actually palatable for my use. I'm sure other players wouldn't mind that as a little impromptu house rule, right?

For 5 mana it wouldn't be worth playing anymore.

Really like the classic goblin flavor on this guy and against my playgroup it will be very solid since I often see Muldrotha, the Gravetide enchantments and 5 color artifacts.

Anything that makes cards you field weaker tends to go over instantly, without any opposition. SoFaF no longer causes discard in my group just so Feather/Kumena can have mana :P

To some, sure. Black Market is also 5 cmc, but I prefer the treasure tokens for spending whenever I want versus BM's mana only being available on the precombat main phase, even though Revel doesn't trigger on my creatures dying and BM does.

Sees card. <Laughs in Daretti>

Real talk though, this doesn't have to try suuuuper hard to be better than Wily Goblin which already occasionally raised my interest in the average monored Goblin or Artifact deck. Given the possible upshot of making 4+ Treasures in a highly competitive environment and this is a new autoinclude. The fact that it's extra sick with Mimic Vat and Feldon of the Third Path is delicious gravy on top of a perfect meal.

This seems.... abusable. Somewhat high-variance, depending on how many artifacts/enchantments your opponents are running, but rituals can be powerful. Paying two mana for a Mana Geyser seems pretty good. And this is before we start to consider any synergies for having a bunch of artifact tokens (like Daretti) or flicker effects (like Deadeye Navigator).

It's also a Goblin, so you could fetch it up with Goblin Matron. Plus, more incidental enchantment hate for red, which is nice.

Ghave, Guru of Spores also uses a lot of cards RIR can use: Grave Pact and friends, token doublers, a few weaker one-sided wipes (Massacre Wurm, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Contagion Engine) for the mirror...Conversely, any additional mana is great for Ghave because most turns, you're just making guys, killing guys, and letting your triggers do the talking.

But RIR still isn't warping anything; at best, it's euthanizing players who can't handle a little control.
Thanks to Feyd_Ruin for the avatar!
