Boneshiv Bravo
Creature — Skeleton Assassin (R)
, Exile Boneshiv Bravo from your hand: Boneshiv Bravo deals 1 damage to target creature. When that creature dies this turn, put Boneshiv Bravo onto the battlefield tapped under its owner's control.
2/2
A 2/2 for B that also takes out an opponent's dude, in a way that generally can't be countered, seems a
little much. I can't imagine a world in which this is ever hardcast, but even that version (a black Bear) was no-go territory until recently.

The Revenant Jacques le Vert 1{w/b}{b/r}{b/g}
Legendary Creature — Shade (M)
Epitaph — As long as The Revenant Jacques le Vert is on the battlefield or in your graveyard, you may spend
as though it were mana of any color to cast creature spells.
Whenever Jacques or another a creature enters the battlefield, if
was spent to cast it, it gains decayed.
Exile a land card from your graveyard: Add
. Jacques gets +0/+2 until end of turn.
Retrace
3/2
I'm having trouble picking out the right playstyle for this card. It feels like it wants to be in a dedicated mill deck, which usually hews black and blue ... making the manafixing ability less of a concern. Decayed is very much a drawback, so the second ability creates an incentive to
not play black, though. And the third ability pushes things back toward black. The toughness boosting is a little old school, Retrace obviously flows into the third ability's cost, but it's easy to overlook.
All in all, it really doesn't feel like a
shade, but I appreciate the oldschool
Legends shout-out.

Virulent Krasis XGG
Creature — Basilisk Hydra (M)
Virulent Krasis enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it.
If damage would be dealt to Virulent Krasis whilst it has a +1/+1 counter on it or if it would be destroyed whilst it has a +1/+1 counter on it, remove a +1/+1 counter from it instead.
Whenever Virulent Krasis deals combat damage to a player or planeswalker, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
The Simic thought to splice Ravnica's most deadly and most durable creature. They didn't think about what to do when they'd done it.

Phantom Nishoba but with shield counters? It's got a lot more going for it than the Phantom gang, which makes it feel inevitable. Slow, but inevitable.

Grotesque Facade 4
Artifact Creature — Gargoyle Wall (U)
Defender
{X}: Grotesque Facade gets -X/-X until end of turn. Create an X/X flying artifact creature token. Sacrifice that token at the beginning of your next end step. X can't be greater than Grotesque Facade's power or toughness.
3/4
Cool token maker; maybe it should make Kaladesh Thopters? While the tokens disappear at the end of turn, they're still viable for
Krark-Clan Ironworks, modular/affinity/inspire shenanigans, Aristocrats triggers, and so on.
While the last sentence sounds like it puts a natural limit on the ability ... it doesn't, really. I can activate it for
3, then activate it again .. and again, and again, each time popping out a 3/3. You would need "activate only as a sorcery" or "If Grotesque Facade is in play" for it to actually limit the token generation.

Alicorn Sunchaser 1WW
Creature — Pegasus Unicorn (Uncommon)
Flying
Whenever a player gains life, Alicorn Sunchaser gains +1/+1 and first strike until end of turn.
2/2
Nice. The buff is pretty easy to achieve, puts it in
Thunder Spirit or Miss America turf.

Angered Earthmental
Creature - Elemental (Rare)
Cumulative Upkeep
Haste
Angered Earthmental can't be blocked by creatures less than the number of counters on Angered Elemental.
5/5
Lower cost? Haste in mono-green still feels a little weird. This is a cool twist on menace! Players might get a little confused with how many triggers get put on with cumulative upkeep (Is it G, then GG, then GGG; or G, then GGG, then GGGGGG?) so reminder text would be appropriate. It ties in nicely with other green/white counter strategies.
