Volrath's garden?CommanderMaster999 wrote: ↑4 years agoVORLATH! FINALLY!
This Definately fit him by far
But I did;'t see him being sultai I thought maro said he's dimir
There are no green cards involving him
Maro's preview article today said that the C19 designers came to him when they were doing Volrath and asked if being Sultai would fit bc they wanted him to be an alt commander. MaRo said that Green fits bc Volrath was always into the different creatures of the Multiverse and liked to experiment on them to see if they could be improved. He also went on to say that he felt Volrath should've been Blue the first time around; Volrath is Dimir with a bigger Blue than Black focus, and Green third due to fascination with nature.CommanderMaster999 wrote: ↑4 years agoVORLATH! Blue adds a few proliferate spells and Deepglow SkateSerpent_Steve wrote: ↑4 years agoBeautiful. Morph deck has some very interesting options by the look of it. Dunno how well he would combine with Hapatra. Does blue add anything to the -1 counter strategy?
Indeed my friendLlectricLlama wrote: ↑4 years agoCorrect me if I am wrong, but Volrath allows you to copy a creature with any kind of counter on it, right? So, +1/+1 counter creatures could be copied as well.
Hopefully Orim, pre-vampire Crovax and maybe Tahngarth?CommanderMaster999 wrote: ↑4 years agoOh it also said two more characters from weatherlight saga are getting cards
So who will they be?
Given that we have two enemy color legends, the other three might be that way as well, which means Orzhov, Simic, and Izzet. Izzet could be Ertai? Orzhov being Crovax, and Simic might be someone else. I can't imagine Tangarth being Simic unless you count the part where he was deformed by Volrath as an attempt to mock him, though Izzet MIGHT fit because of that.Gwangi wrote: ↑4 years agoHopefully Orim, pre-vampire Crovax and maybe Tahngarth?CommanderMaster999 wrote: ↑4 years agoOh it also said two more characters from weatherlight saga are getting cards

Or it'll be Greven or another baddie from the Weatherlight Saga.
I daresay, a Predator vehicle to match the new Weatherlight vehicle.
Nope black is only in the morph and madness deck so orzhov is impossibleCyberium wrote: ↑4 years agoGiven that we have two enemy color legends, the other three might be that way as well, which means Orzhov, Simic, and Izzet. Good call, so that leave us Izzet, perhaps there will be one mono-color legend? I remember Orim asw tournament play in mono-white 60 before Mother of Runes was printed.CommanderMaster999 wrote: ↑4 years agoNope black is only in the morph and madness deck so orzhov is impossibleCyberium wrote: ↑4 years ago

Same with simic since blue and green is only in the morph deck
