[r] in Custom Card Creator flavor taxt not rendered correctly

So, to have non-italics in flavor text the Custom Card Creator uses [r] markup, which works well enough for text, but when rendering the card, the markup is not parsed correctly. Instead it's simply printed out.

It may or may not have been a silly typo
