The Humans, Dwarves, and Kithkin of Anbuz-Kunalak ruled a beautiful plane once, as triumvirs under the High Dwarf Kings and Queens, their peace as shining and durable as brass. That is, until an unknown force invaded... a new species, totally alien and without pity - one known as Goblins. Abandoning their cities, the natives head to magnificent subterranean citadels, hoping to retake their home one day.

We all know Ikoria as a world where steadfast people live back to back with terrifying monsters and somehow manage to survive and even make friends with them. But was it always like this? Let's go to the past days of this plane to see how first humans of it tried to deal with harsh circumstances, when Ancients of Ikoria were young and playful, everything was fresh and the future of human survivalists was uncertain at best.

Prophets of Halixut know better than anyone else that nothing is carved in stone. The immense skills of clairvoyance always helped them to reach the best possible version of future, even though the "best" is not the same for everybody. But after many and many successful attempts to change the future, prophets started to face "blind spots" on the matter of time - which makes future unpredictable and therefore impossible to change. What caused this? We just don't know yet...
