Welcome to the Card Creation League! Everyone is free to participate in either or both of the first two rounds. Come join us!

Theme

It's Mages of Many Colors Month here in the CCL! Each color has a characteristic creature type and an iconic creature type. Now a lot of people theorize they each have a spellcaster creature type as well! This month will make use of those five types.

Challenge

For each of your Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3 entries, design a new card with the same typeline as that card. For your Round 4 entry, design a new card using the same mechanic you created.

• "Same typeline" means exact same card type and subtypes.
• You'll design exactly four cards.
• Make sure to include a rarity.

• Round 1 — Open to Everyone (December 1st-8th)
• Round 2 — Open to Everyone (December 10th-16th)
• Rounds 1 and 2 Critiques (Due December 18th)
• Top 6 — Open to top 6 finishers (December 23rd–26th)
• Top 6 Critiques (Due December 28th)
• Top 4 — Open to top 4 finishers (January 1st-January 4th)
• Top 4 Critiques (Due January 6th)
• Final (January, winner determined by public poll)

Please note: For this month we will continue asking first and second round contestants to evaluate seven other contestants during the critique and top 3 period, in order to increase the total number of evaluations each contestant gets.

-3: Return up to two target sorcery cards from your graveyard to your hand.
-7: You get an emblem with "If a Shaman you control would deal damage to a permanent you don't control or an opponent, it deals five times that much damage instead."

Until end of turn, whenever a creature you control dies, exile the top card of your library. You may play that card this turn.
Witchery 3RR (At the beginning of your upkeep, if this card is in your graveyard, you may pay and sacrifice two permanents or a Warlock.)
Whenever you commit Call on the Despised's witchery, create a 4/4 red Demon Warlock creature token with trample and "Whenever you commit a card's witchery, this creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn."

@MonoRedMage Think you'll be able to enter within the next day or so? @Pygyzy You need to edit your entry - one of your cards should have the same typeline as your round 1 card (so Legendary Creature - Orc Cleric).
