One of the simplest joys of Magic is turning big fat creatures sideways. I hadn't embraced my raw, unfiltered Timmy side for many years. Then came the Core Set 2019 pre-release. I opened my sealed pool, and there she was, my promo:
She's beautiful, isn't she? She got my EDH gears turning. Within a week I had the deck's first draft, and it actually held it's own pretty well. After a few games though, it became apparent that the deck needed to do three things if it was going to hang at even the 75% level:
1. Deal with flyers.
2. Not roll over to board wipes.
3. Get Reliquary Tower out.
It does pretty well in those departments now, and it's a really fun deck to pilot.
