Well, I'm going to go with "unique" being something like "not really the typical build / few built this particular way". And in that case, I simply like unique decks primarily: ones that put a twist on the commander or on the way the deck unfolds (or something along those lines)....

Still looking forward to see how well this performs in my Esix, Fractal Bloom deck. At one point there was potential of seeing it in play (it was one of two similar choices from copying a Burning-Rune Demon) and my opponents thought this was the more dangerous, so there's that.

Edit: Skirge Familiar is the bomb. I play it in my Rakdos reanimator deck, and any time I've stumbled into like a seven part infinite combo in that deck, it's cause of the familiar. It is a pretty unique resource converter, indeed, but I guess Mind Over Matter is still superior for converting cards...

Probably easier with Twinflame / Heat Shimmer making more Elementalists and then also getting back Arcane cards to splice Desperate Ritual on and then it's self-sustaining.
