Re: Having Your Voice Heard
I could definitely see some value in a "game reporting" tool so that anyone could report a game with some data, and just collect a huge pool of games. Number of players, each commander, turn the game ended, who ended it, what level of power did you guys agree about, was it accurate, etc. ...

Re: Commander 2019 Speculation
Someone linked this on Salv: https://www.blackfire.eu/product.php?id=33368 and linked it here too: From https://www.blackfire.eu/product.php?id=33368 https://i.imgur.com/XIGKvao.png If that's accurate, then these colors are pretty easy slots to start with, especially as they typically try to tie the...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
Having a direct line to the development team is really nice. Also, having a development team that understands the needs of the forum, because they're a customer of it themselves, is a huge deal. MTGSal's deckbuilder would put artifact creatures under artifact, because the developers didn't play magi...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
I'm not sure I want to know what that is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkUAzcja74Y EDIT: I think we killed sally's commander section... Honestly, this was kind of expected. There's still some life, and there will be as long as Sally is still the top, or near top google search result for Commande...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
Yeah. Considering how long it's taken me to put stuff into boxes, all the random stuff I've been finding, and the huge mess of half packed boxes... I can't even on trying to get this done in a few days type of situation.

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
Where are you moving to? About 30min away. I bought a townhouse. Kinda near where WF used to live. We discussed this before. I was trying to see if things would be done in time to host ECMMU possibly. (spoiler: they're not. Though, tbf, I'm taking my time). I've been moving like 6-10 boxes at a tim...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
I joined Cryogen for some games at his LGS, and brought a McDonalds kids meal toy that was a Rainbow Dash mask/glasses type thing to use as the Monarch King/Queen token (Conspiracy 2 had just recently come out). Cryogen refused to wear the crown upon becoming the Monarch. As such, I feel confident i...

Re: Mirrodin Besieged
I have been wanting to build a UR artifact deck for a while. What I can say is that I've had fun playing a mono-R Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient deck, as well as a colorless deck (who has changed commanders a few times now), and that recently I tossed Saheeli, Sublime Artificer into my Jori En deck, where ...

Re: Having Your Voice Heard
Despite what some folks think, the RC listens to as many voices in the Commander community as we can. One of the reasons we formed the CAG was to extend our reach. Still, it appears as though some folks feel as though their voices aren't being heard. I'd like to get your opinions on how you think t...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
If we're still doing introductions, hi, my name is Sheldon. My job is getting called names by people in the internet. Best. Introduction. Ever. At one of our mod meetup years ago we had drafted my cube. In one game Jivan was playing Oloro and Airi (I think) hit him turn 2 with Stigma Lasher. Kaburi...

Re: Commander Philosophy Document Discussion
I agree with JqlGirl here. This is a minor correction towards that there are other legal Commanders, but also possibly a nod to the thematic nature of the format. It could also be a slight nod to the fact that plenty of playgroups have individualized rules, which is entirely in the spirit of the for...

Commander Philosophy Document Discussion
http://mtgcommander.net/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19170 The Philosophy of Commander Commander is for fun. It’s a socially interactive, multiplayer Magic: the Gathering format full of wild interactions and epic plays, specifically designed as an alternative to tournament Magic. As is fitting for ...

Re: [Off-Topic] Community Chat Thread
so, I'm in need of beta readers... I'm always down for more and new reading material. What's the genre? So glad to see MTGNexus is up and running! Here's hoping the content I contribute to it won't be randomly killed by some EU privacy policy lol Sadly, this will always be a hurdle for any site. No...
