This card might be worthwhile since you can still cast spells with tapped lands.

Re: Urza, Combo Painter
I don't think that there's anything that makes the cut from Commander 2019. What do you think? Agreed. I was kicking around the idea of tapping scaretiller for mana and returning fetchlands to the battlefield, but that's a little janky. I'll probably be putting arcane signet from Throne of Eldraine...

Re: Urza, painting his way to victory
Hey. Just letting you know that Power Artifact does not work with Mana Vault as far as infinite mana. The oracle wording is that it triggers "At the beginning of your upkeep", so it is only an ability that you can use once. Ok, thanks for letting me know. All of mine say 'during your upke...

Re: Turbo Sliver - unleash the swarm by turn 2-4
Perhaps some context will provide insight on why I came up with this deck. Slivers are fun once they get going, but this is what usually happens: you cast stuff, then it gets boardwiped. Or, you get sliver hivelord in play, then it gets exiled, and then comes the boardwipe. When you invest more mone...

Re: Turbo Sliver - unleash the swarm by turn 2-4
Your deck is rife with oops I win combos. Flash hulk is the same thing as mana echoes or intruder alarm. Same for hermit library dump combos. These are not what your self described deck would be. Or at least it's not any different then the lolz I won on turn 15 decks that you make fun of. I don't r...

Re: Turbo Sliver - unleash the swarm by turn 2-4
Slow clap from this guy! Excellent idea. I am no Sliver afficianado, but is there a Hulk pile that really bursts P/T stats? Like a package that has Might Sliver variants? Sliver Legion is great for this; is there a way to safely clone it with a Hulk pile like Spark Double ? Spark double is interest...

Sliver cEDH <-- no it's not a typo :)
Last week ago it occurred to me that I've never seen a good sliver deck. Everyone brags about how amazing theirs is with stories like "OMG this one time on turn 15, I had SO MANY SLIVERS!!!" Comments like that make me roll my eyes so much I nearly pull a muscle. Sure, sometimes a sliver de...

Turbo Sliver - unleash the swarm by turn 2-4
Last week ago it occurred to me that I've never seen a good sliver deck. Everyone brags about how amazing theirs is with stories like "OMG this one time on turn 15, I had SO MANY SLIVERS!!!" Which is hardly impressive. Sliver decks are slow, and susceptible to boardwipes. Sure, sometimes a...

Re: Urza, painting his way to victory
I've been thoroughly unimpressed with Sai, Master Thopterist . Outside of the Future Sight + Top combo, I often find he just sits there and does nothing. I'd rather have pretty much anything else instead of him. I playtested Sai more (this time I playtested drawing him on turn 3 a bunch of games in...

Re: Will & Rowan Kenrith - Sparks of Ice and Fire (Superfriends)
Unfortunately there isn't really a lot of life gain cards in Izzet that I can think of. Mirror Universe is a good one with extra turns...if you have a spare $340 lying around :P Back in my early days of playing Mtg I played a combo deck that won by casting Lim-Dul's Vault|alliances to bring myself ...

Re: Urza Help
Added Pongify and Shackles. How good is shackles when i have very few islands?I like the recursion ability/win conditon of Codex Shredder. Pacification Array is to combo with Static Orb and Winter Orb but that may be too cute. If your heart is set on those lands then you might prefer legacy's allur...

This primer is a thing of beauty. Wow.
If you don't mind me asking, did you do the gifs yourself? The glowing magical parts look especially difficult to do.

Re: Urza, painting his way to victory
Honestly I would give some thought to playing all three. Trophy fetches Static Orb , Vedalken Shackles , Trinisphere , Rings of Brighthearth , Basalt Monolith . If that's the entire list I can see why it's not great here, but these are still great cards to fetch so it'd still be on my mind. I feel ...

Issue creating threads on Nexus
Hi. I was looking for a place to post questions about technical issues but couldn't find one. Feel free to redirect me to the appropriate forum. In the testing area I made a thread with a gif, previewed it, submitted it, and it worked fine. I also made a thread with a decklist and stuff, which worke...

Re: Urza, painting his way to victory
Have you given any thought to Tribute Mage ? You run Trinket and Trophy, and you seem to have a ton of important 2CMC stuff like Winter Orb , Isochron Scepter , Painter's Servant , as a few of the key ones. I'm so glad you said that. The card I use is tribute mage. I just had it mixed up so thanks ...

It'd almost be worth it to include tale's end to stifle shuffle effects like those eldrazi (as well as counterspelling commanders and stuff).

Re: Urza, painting his way to victory
Very cool deck and it seems pretty powerful. I think you might want to post it in the cEDH forum. Thanks!. I did that first. This forum seems like the place to be though and when a search revealed no Urza decks posted yet, I decided to post it here too. I imagine there's a lot of people out there h...

Another cool thing about grindstone/servant and jace, wielder of mysteries is you can mill yourself for the win. 😃

Re: Urza - painting and grinding his foes to death
I entered a little commander tournament at the LGS yesterday and I definitely love Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. It draws cards and provides the wincon - awesome. Plus even the foil version of it is cheap. I think I could have beat the table with it on turn 3, but I did it on turn 4 instead so I'd hav...
