Re: Unreleased and New Card Discussion
The First Doctor is surprisingly interesting to me since TARDIS seems like a good card. Having a CZ-accesible way to give things cascade (potentially K-9, Mark I into Ancestral Vision or Inevitable Betrayal memes) seems strong. Alternatively, the idea of The First Doctor + Amy Pond , letting you pl...

Re: Lobelia, Defender of Bag End - Getting What's Mine
Super into this list. Might be brewing her.
Are any artifact lands worth it? I doubt having artifacts out is a problem, and they do open up your lands to more removal. Treasure Vault especially seems sweet, and makes Revel in Riches slightly more realistic.
Sorry to hear about Jon.

Re: The 5 color tribal everything deck
Sweet deck, might tinker around with a version of this idea. Had some questions about the general approach. I understand the need for a TON of ramp since Jegantha is essentially 8 mana but I was curious about the large density of tutors. Are the creature tutors there to grab derevi elsewhere on your...

Re: Erinis: Scrappy Street Justice
Might just be an idea for Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy and 1KYS. Guild Artisan likes this idea a lot. I agree that Artisan may be one of the better backgrounds, though red doesn't have a lot of great options for this kind of deck. The closest competition is likely Passionate Archaeologist as it's a win ...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
I think Reckless Barbarian is one of the strongest cards in the set for Grenzo. Of all the mana-neutral creatures, once the engine starts going it is almost equivalent to a Priest of Urabrask effect considering it can immediately send itself to the graveyard for aristocrat synergies/reanimation. Mor...

Re: Erinis: Scrappy Street Justice
Random idea that was prompted since I saw that the deck only really has 3 enchantments. Idk if this has been discussed widely but like (most widely) Keranos, God of Storms decks utilizing Thousand-Year Storm , Backgrounds in a deck with little other enchantments can essentially be less restrictive P...

Re: Zada: Grinding up an Arcane Storm
Beta version of a 5c TaZada cEDH-ish list -- would love some feedback!! (confession: I've already been bothering Ulka to look it over for the last few days :?) https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9KO-Sh8duE6hrDNKyQlS7A Super into this list as well. Random thoughts on it as I have done some initial tinke...

Re: Zabaz Bionicles
Super into this list, probably one of the more all-in Zabaz lists I've seen. The main thing that stood out to me was the inclusion of 3 artifact conversion cards ( Liquimetal Coating et al). I think you have about 10 non artifact, non land permanents so am I missing some kind of synergy? I suppose I...

Re: Rionya, Fire Dancer - Combat Storm
Had an idea for an include that has a hilariously high ceiling with Harmonic Prodigy . Rage Forger functions somewhat similarly to Hellrider that, while having less utility on a normal, non- combo combat than the Devil, creates larger bodies on a combo attack, costs 1 less mana, and provides a somew...

Re: Style Biter's Breakfast - Volrath, the Shapestealer
Just came across this deck for the first time, very cool! :) Like this approach as a thicc Lazav 2.0. I had a few things I was curious about reading through the thread. Is the decklist in the original post still consistent with what you're running/discussing in the thread? I see pod in the list but ...
