Not sure I'd compare it to Knight of the White Orchid, as Knight is a full turn faster, which matters a lot when it comes to ramp.

It's two turns faster since the Plains from Cartographer's Hawk etbs tapped. Plus, its etb is more reliable.

Dreadhorde Arcanist Man, this fella has been so much fun while I ran it in Zada, Hedron Grinder ! Plenty of one drops to cast and usually a high enough density of buffs if you're aiming for even more than that. And as with other cards in said deck you will likely not see it in a lot of other decks.

When was the last time you thought Crackling Doom should cost more mana?

More often than not, pesky smol creatures are my major concern on board, not my enemies french vanillas or else.

I am not sure if I had Gift of Immortality in Killian, Ink Duelist or if I only ever used the black return-to-battlefield auras.
